About us

Sustainable Brampton is organised into action groups that each focus on a different, practical aspect of encouraging a sustainable and more self-reliant community. Details of these groups and their activities can be found by clicking on the links to the left. 

Representatives of the action groups, along with the elected officers of Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer all meet regularly as a Co-ordinating Group. These meetings try to ensure that the whole organisation's aims and activities are co-ordinated and run smoothly and efficiently.

We welcome new ideas and input and our activities range from organising practical events, establishing allotments and supporting novice gardeners to lobbying governing bodies on issues relating to sustainability.
