Brampton Food Network develop an 8 week course in vegetable growing
Brampton Food Network are delighted to announce that we have teamed up with David Haigh, previously Head of Horticulture at Newton Rigg, to develop an 8 week course in vegetable growing.
It will cover the preparations, planting and care needed to help you grow successfully whether that be in your garden, allotment or back yard.
We hope to start in early to mid May, most sessions will be evenings, once a week and there will be 2 half days. We are limited numbers to 12 people and the cost is £80 per person for the full 8 week course. The sites will be varied but we plan to work on the sites of the course participants so you learn on your own sites and get some of the work done as well!
We have some degree of flexibility of which weekday evening. If you are interested please reply to Gareth at bfn@bramptoncommunitycentre.org.uk as soon as possible. He will then send out a learning program and we can collectively agree a weekday that suits the majority. Also, please pass this on to as many people you can who you think may be interested.
Many thanks
